Question by Cherry: Can you use Breyer Traditional horse accessories with Breyer Classic horses?
Or are traditional accessories way too oversized for classics?

In general they are too big. However some can be adapted to suit.
The tack items (saddles, bridles, halters and rugs etc) are much too big and look silly on classics. The jumps that can be lowered can be used if the poles are used on low settings and things like bags of feed and haybales can be used as they can vary in size in relation to real horses anyway.
If you only have classic scale models, realistic accessories are available to buy for them, and they really aren’t more expensive than they Breyer brand ones. You can find them on ebay, usually do a search for breyer and they will be amongst the ads, or on www.modelhorsesalespages.com, where you can do a search for tack and related items. Some tack makers will do custom orders for classic scale models too. Saddle and bridle kits for making your own classic scale accessories are available from www.riorondo.com. That way you can have something that looks great on your classic scale models, good luck.
