Question by minshullj: How does a canadian go about selling a lion rug legally?
I have a friend who has an 80 year old male lion rug complete with head. He would like to sell it but sites like ebay do not allow it. How does he prove it wasn’t killed last week and how much do these things sell for?

I think he has to have it authenticated by taking it to an auctioneer or someone else who knows about these things. He should start by getting it appraised by a reputable person such as an antique dealer or auctioneer, and then he can probably sell it through an auction house.
