It does seem absorbent. My shower likes to spray the outside of the shower stall as I get it to the right temp, which is annoying and I am currently looking into shower heads that are a bit more ‘controlled.’ So I need to keep the floor somewhat dry so I don’t do a Three Stooges exit from said shower stall. I spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for an absorbent bath mat. What has the world come to? Anyway, I guess I made the right choice, because I haven’t really had to do anything about hte mat for a while. It lies there absorbing, and hasn’t mildewed or walked away on it’s own yet. So I highly recommend this fine, and attractive, bath mat.

This rug is absorbent and it’s really soft, and it has short, dense fibers. Stepping on it feels really good. It’s rubber backed and stays put. I bought the chocolate. It a very rich chocolate color…prettier than the photo. I like it.

These microfiber rugs are excellent. If you need a bath rug that truly absorbs a remarkable amount of liquid while protecting the surface it sits on, this rug is for you. We live in a log home that was built with wood floors throughout the house including the bathroom. Even if the shower door didn’t drip at all, the water dripping off of a family of 3 taking a shower every day would have ruined our wood floor, subfloor, etc.

The microfiber rug comes out of the washer spin cycle barely damp and air dries within minutes. There really is no need to put it in the dryer ESPECIALLY on high heat.

It feels fantastic to step/walk on….soft and comfy.

Don’t dry or high or even medium heat, it will smell horrible until you wash it and dry it properly.

Feels good, looks good, but is a little tattered/falling apart a bit after 2 washes.

I’ve not had this rug very long but so far I’m really enjoying it. Thank you for a modern and much needed addition to my bathroom.
