I was disappointed that it looks a lot darker than what my monitor, at least, shows it to look like. The center area isn’t white, but more of a brown/beige. On the plus side, it was made in Turkey, not China. My daughter loves it for her room, surprisingly, given the fact she’s 7 and usually likes all things pink. She won’t let me return it. It seems like it’ll last forever and handle lots of wear and tear. The only other downside – like so many artificial things, it smells bad. I’ve been hanging it outside for the last couple of days in the sun and that’s really helping the plastic or whatever it’s made of out-gas and lose that chemical smell.
