Question by Sweet Attic: How can I get a pet urine stain out of a hardwood floor?
Our puppy peed on a 3′ x 5′ Oriental rug without us realizing it. When we recently moved the rug, there was a very dark stain on the oak floor where the urine seeped through.

Something that worked well for me when I moved into my home was “Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor Remover”…..available at most Pet stores
If you have a true hardwood floor {not laminate} and the stain will still not come out with “Natures Miracle” try “hydrogen peroxide” my neighbor swears by it …..she has dogs.

I would speculate that the finish has been damaged so whatever you use…. you may still need to sand and refinish in that spot.
Good luck
