    Google “clothes moths” to find out about them and what to do about them.

    They do not like cedar.

    You could test a spot with boric acid powder and see if this will harm your rug.

    If not, lighly put powder on the rug and push in with a broom. Let sit for hours and then vacuum.

    Or do the same with soda and salt mixed together.

    Check out these pheromone traps that are featured in this article. Moth balls have found to have chemicals in them that aren’t too healthy. The new thing is having these pheromone traps that can be placed anywhere and are non-toxic. Best of luck!
