Question by Anita Bodi: How Do I Remove Blue Rug Dye From Bathroom Tiles?This is blue dye from the bathroom rugs that has rubbed off on the tiles and been there for years. The natural color is white. I’ve poured bleach on them, no joy.

    You need something more abrasive than bleach. Bleach is known for whitening clothing and killing germs. Try using something abrasive like baking soda, a scrub brush or like the other answer said: Ajax. Or barkeeper’s friend. Just dont’ mix bleach with ANYTHING or you’ll end up in the ER.

    Try a Mr. Clean eraser. It cleans many stains – like Kool-Aid on countertops. I’ll bet it will do the trick. Good luck. They’re really good for cleaning the grout between the tiles, too.
