I agree — Paula´╗┐ is very rude and her comment should be deleted.

Are you kidding me, Paula? There’s are a few videos that show using acetone to remove fingernail polish…I guess you think you’re an expert on stain removal. I found your reply rude and you need´╗┐ to apologize to Vashti. I’m hoping she deletes the nasty reply you left.

Acetone will destroy the backing of the carpet and you will end up with a hole in your carpet in the next mont or two.
You need to hire a pro´╗┐ to do the cleaning. what you did is clean the stain but ruin your carpet for the long run.

    I´╗┐ meant stay wet

You should never pour anything onto a carpet, as it will go deep into it and sat´╗┐ wet which will cause mildew. You should always pour product onto a cloth and dab!

Thanks for the nail polish video. I spilled red polish on my beige carpet. I was mad at myself for doing it (trying to paint my nails in bed while I am sleepy. The nail polish fell on the floor and I didn’t get it up right away because I was too lazy to get off the bed. It splattered and left a big blotch and a trail over 12 inches long. It has a trail´╗┐ of red. Thanks. I will try the steps and hopefully the acetone will not ruin anything else. Keep on helping with your videos.
