IN-YOUR-FACE red. I think it would be deliciously great.

A nice warm sand, bone, or cream.

personally, i *love* a black, white, and red color scheme. try painting the walls a nice cream-white color. it’ll be a neutral color, so your husband isn’t mad, and it won’t look boring at all because you have such great furniture and rugs! it will look *very* chic and will balance out the dark lower half of the room from the black and red.

be sure to put primer paint on first so the pink doesn’t show through!

    good luck!

Hmmm. Why don’t you ask your husband?
With those colours, I could see a very light cream, or a bold brown.

I would go with a soft color like a beige or off white….not white white…..that way you can put accents on the wall that are black and red to compliment the rug and couch and then add off white pillow to the couch.

Go with the color that speaks to you the most or a neutral color that works with the both of you.

You have my favorite colors… You can paint your walls a bright red since you have a black couches and put a big picture on the wall with black/red/white accent colors in the picture and accessories as well. You can also do like a metallic gray/or regular gray for the walls, that color also goes good with black and red. Or you can stick with the basic colors like cream, or white

I’d stick with more of a neutral like a deep taupe.

    Go EARTH TONE COLORS.

I think gray might be an option, you could even do a silver color. Black, red, and white look very good together, if you have colorful artwork you could put on the walls. We painted our walls a very subdued greenish/gray and it looks great with black furniture and red.

i would paint the bottom half of the wall black and the top half red, so you can get both colors in and if he doesn’t have a problem with the coutch or rug color.
HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK ^__^

yeah, earthy tones would be good, but complimentary earthy tones. people think that blaring colors are good, but after a week, you’ll want to poke your eyes out. What kind of red is it? red is kind of a broad term, but a nice light tan, or a light grey/blue. if all else fails paint it a creamy white . . . red, black, white . . . they’re just meant to go together. trust me, i’m a guy and i have good taste. i hope this was helpful.

really pale green/blue the red will look great with it and can also put blues and other greens with it. i like silvery blue too. something pale and you can refresh your room’s look with bold accessories and fun patterns.

Try a creme color or a taupe color….it goes with more and is calming.
