Looks cool….but kind of too expensive. My jeans cost $30 a pair, so it’d cost $150 to make the rug.

I hope this helps you…I did a smaller rug with cloth and was having same prob,so I went back unstitched and redid the stitches looser with some spacing between them, this stopped it from bowling,,,hope it helps

This is sooo much harder than it looks!! I have sewn together my rug 3-4 times. It always bowls up when I turn it over!! It is about a 6 foot long oval. I always make the part facing up the bottom, and when I turn it to the top it is a big bowl…really frustrating. Any tips on how to stop it from doing that? Thanks a bunch!!

My grandmother used to make rugs like this and they do last a very long time. I have attempted to make one of my own using old socks, but never got around to finishing it.
