Buy a cheap bottle of scotchgard. That should solve your problem.

Other than washing them regularly, no. Black rugs are a battle not worth fighting.

Static Guard could help keep the lint from being attracted to the black.

But, if your house is carpeted in lighter colors, you will ‘always’ have lint and fibers being tracked in. Even lighter colored towels will shed lint as you use them.

Black shows everything so it is not the best color for rugs. You probably would be better served by using it in other accessories for the bathroom, like soap dispenser, lotion, etc.

You shouldn’t even buy a black or white rug for a bathroom unless it’s 4 decoration to make ur bathroom look pretty.

i clean houses for a living and i have learn from them NEVER to buy solid black rug because of that very reason….i don’t think anything will stop lint from showing up…i would toss it and change rugs from my experience…

for any bathroom, a multicolored rug is the best. you could probably find one with those colors at bed, bath and beyond, for ex. all those colors are dark and will show lighter lint, but if they’re mixed together the lint will just blend in!

I think a purple rug would coordinate with your shower curtain, but not so dark because you’ll have the same problem

Hope it was not expensive. Either toss it or get used to it’s magnetism for lint.

Even if you try a Scotch Guard it will eventually still show.

I had a blk lacquer bedroom set that I drove myself nuts with…not anymore.

    Good luck.

Any dark color is going to do this, but black is by far the worst! You may try using red instead of the black. I’d say it’s the better of your colors you mentioned when it comes to showing lint! Here’s a trick you might try though, no matter what color your choose: spray the rugs with starch and static guard. It will still catch the lint, but just pick the rugs up each morning and give them a good shake. The lint will just fall off!
