Question by ashbash: What color should i paint my living room?
I’m planning on painting my living room but i don’t know what color to go with. I have brown couches & tables. I don’t want my home to be the traditional white but i also don’t want too much darkness. Help please!

Light blue is a very calming color, with brown couches you can do a kind of beach theme or a modern/rustic design of your own.

Maybe just an accent wall of red to make the room pop? Red is very passionate and bold. I suggest you only do one wall red tho.

A dull kind of green would also be nice 🙂

i would suggest a nice scarlet red color. once the paint dries it turns out a bit brighter than the actual color. also another good color is green. green is an awesome color. you dont want a light green though or it will make it looking like one of those retro hospitals. hope this helps 😀

Considering your brown furniture, I would opt for a lighter neutral color and then have fun playing with brighter colors in the accents in the room (pillows, rug, vases etc) Plus if you want to change up the decor color later on, you have that option without having to repaint

Light grey is a wonderful color that goes great with brown furniture, especially dark brown

Cream walls have a very clean feel, but feel more homey and not as sterile as bright white.

Brownish beige is also a nice option http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http:…

To add contrast, white trim and black doors look amazing. The contrast looks very rich. https://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=bla…

If you wanted to go a bit bold with a sharp red, purple or another deep color, pick one wall in the room and make it that color, but paint the other 3 walls a neutral color. It ideally works best with the wall behind he couch.

    Good luck! 🙂
