Us your red cushions, but add a couple of off white to match the magnolia, to counter them. You can overlap the red, so only a few inches show. If you’re handy with a needle and thread, you can put a couple of bands of broad charcoal or off white ribbon around the red cushions. Put two bands going the same direction, or one in each direction off center.

From your color scheme. I assume your rooms are rather modern, so for curtains I’d go for charcoal with a broad (12″ to 14″) vertical stripe in red or off white about 12″ to 14″ down from the top, or up from the bottom. If you feel you have too much of one color in a room, bring in vases, candles, decorative bowls, etc. in the other colors. They don’t need to be ‘just that color’ either. If you have a white vase with a yellow flower, use it, or candlesticks with green leaves, use them. What might look nice, and relieve some of the strong color, is a large plant in a brightly decorated Asian design pot in a corner, or on the hearth if you have a fireolace.

Charcoal and red look great together.
To add another color, think about yellow. It does not have to be Highlighter yellow just a mellow yellow. It goes so well with the color you already mentioned.
