Question by armando g: What colour should i use for decorating my living room?
Hello , Looking for suggestions. I have one wall brown and another just white in my living room, carpet is beige and curtains taupe. sofa comes with a blue- greyish cover ( planning to change it for beige – brown family tones ) to match it. but i think is going to look kind of bored so I want to contrast and make the living room more alive what kind kind of colous should i use to make it modern. and Decorative pieces ??? Thanks for yours suggestion and happy holidays!

maybe a nice light blue? or kinda yellow?

    If one wall is brown and the other is white, use a color to match the two like an egg shell. Remember dark colors make a room look smaller. Light colors bright a room and make you feel alive.

    keep to the same part of the spectrum.

    red or Orange but duller –like rusty Autumn leaves colour..

    If you are feeling bolder then dark maroon will go (used in Moroccan schemes with brown)

    If you are wanting to brighten things up — yellow always works but be careful – not too much
